Water Damage Over Time
Jennifer was struggling with water and humidity in her basement that, in time, began to damage the floors and walls.
The WaterGuard Drainage System Fully Installed
Along the full perimeter of the basement, the WaterGuard drainage was installed to collect any possible moisture seeping in and help direct it down the sump pump.
SuperSump System and Battery Backup
To ensure the basement remains dry for years to come, a SuperSump system with a battery backup was installed. So if the primary pump fails for any reason or there is a power outage, the system will still continue to run and keep the basement dry!
I-Beams Added to Stablize Bowing Walls
On one wall, there were several large cracks, which indicate that the wall was beginning to bow or show signs of inward movement. To address this, several I-Beams were installed to help stabilize the wall and to prevent further movement.
SaniDry Sedona To Combat Hummidiy
The cherry on top of this project was to install the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. It's a high-efficiency dehumidification system that also acts as an air filtration system, which is perfect to handle the humidity and odor issues in Jennifer's basement.
