Damage From Water Intrusion
The dark staining along the edge of the basement and the paint on the walls that had started to bubble were clear signs that water had been seeping into Kair's basement!
Old Sump Pump System
Kair's basement had a sump pump system. It was an open pit in the basement, and the system's current pump had not been effectively pushing water up and out.
New Drainage System Installed
To help capture the water seeping into Kair's basement, Kair had a full perimeter of the WaterGuard drainage system installed. This interior drainage system is designed to capture water seeping in and direct it to the sump pump.
Upgraded Sump Pump System
The sump pump system in Kair's basement was upgraded to a SuperSump. This is a closed-lidded system that contains a Zoeller cast-iron pump that pushes water up and out of the basement!
