Prepping The Area
Before the crew can start the repair, they first need to chip out the previous solution installed. This step also allows them to fully expose the crack, remove any other defects, and fully prep the area.
Repairing The Crack
The Xypex system is a fast-setting hydraulic cement compound. It works by stopping any water from continuously leaking in and sealing the crack itself.
Waterproofing Solutions Added
Once the crack was repaired, a Brightwall Panel and a strip of the WaterGuard drainage system were installed. These products work together to direct any water leaking from the crack into the home's current drainage system.
