Previous Work Implemented
Zach had worked with another company in the past to help resolve the structural issues his basement had been facing. But unfortunately, the work did not stand the test of time, and more supports had to be implemented to stabilize the basement walls.
Exposed and Dated Sump Pump
This old sump pump worked, but Zach was afraid it could burn out soon, which would cause his basement to flood. Plus, he never liked that his sump pump wasn't enclosed to keep dirt and debris out.
Wall Stabilization
When a wall begins to weaken and get pushed inwards, it will start to look curved or bulge. To stabilize it and prevent further inward movement, I-Beams were installed.
Waterproofing Solutions Implemented
The WaterGuard drainage system was added between the I-Beams to effectively capture water seepage. This system has inlet holes along its center that allow water into it, while the wall flange at the back captures water running down.
Upgraded Sump Pump
It was out with the old and in with the new! With a SuperSump Plus now installed in Zach's basement, he won't have to worry about water not being effectively pushed up and out of it.
