Damaged Wood Paneling
The old paneling in Tyler's basement started to peel and pull away from the wall. This was a clear sign that he had moisture seepage in his basement!
Large Basement Wall Cracks
Large horizontal and stair-stepping cracks had formed between the blocks on several of Tyler's basement walls. This type of crack indicates a structural issue and water seepage.
Supporting The Walls
Along those walls that were cracked and bowed, I-Beams were added. These large steel beams sit as flush as possible with the wall to help prevent further inward movement, creating a stable foundation for Tyler's home!
Improved Drainage System Added
The WaterGuard drainage system was added along the full perimeter of Tyler's basement to capture the water that had been seeping. This system is nearly discrete, as it's installed under the floor and sealed over with fresh concrete, with the flange and drain clean-out ports visible at the top.
Reliable Sump Pump Installed
The final piece to Tyler's project was adding in a SuperSump Plus! This powerful sump pump system will collect water, pump it up, and discharge it from the basement.
