A dehumidifier hiding in a closet? This might have seemed like a good idea for drying out a small space after it flooded, but Allison needed something far more effective!

Bowed Basement Walls

The bowing of Allison's back basement wall wasn't a design flaw but a red flag waving! The visible movement gave our Design Specialist the telltale sign that a structural issue was brewing down here.

Stabilizing the Shifting Wall

Moving walls are officially a thing of the past for Allison! I-Beams were installed to help stabilize the wall. They are anchored and secured deep down to the foot, laid against the bowing wall, and then attached to the joists above, putting a stop to any further inward movement for good!

Interior Drainage System

Between each beam and around the entire basement, we installed our WaterGuard drainage system! This interior system captures moisture before it ever has the chance to make its way in. Allison can finally say goodbye to those dark stains!

Brighter Basement Walls

Adding a wall covering like Allison did with BrightWall panels, makes a massive difference in what's usually such a dark space! They help to brighten up the basement while preventing water from leaking through the walls and into the space.

Small and Mighty Dehumidifier

No more closet dehumidifier for Allison! We installed a SaniDry Sedona out in the open to create a muggy and must-free basement. This small but mighty machine keeps Allison's home below 55% relative humidity, so mold won't stand a chance, and dust mites will die off!

Adding in Another Sump Pump

Allison's basement wasn't small, so just one sump pump wasn't going to cut it! On the opposite side of the basement, we installed a SuperSump Plus. Now Allison has two pumps working together to collect and direct water up and out of her basement!
