It seemed as though, little by little, the water was winning in this struggle in Jonathan's basement! Stains from water were spreading across the floor, and the paneling on the wall started to warp, showing signs that this situation had been in the making for far too long!
Stair Stepping Cracks
As you stepped down into Jonathan's basement, you could see the walls creating their own staircase. Cracks between the blocks clearly showed a structural issue, as the walls shifted and moved, causing them to form.
Adding in Wall Support
Jonathan's basement wall won't be shifting inward anymore now that he has several I-Beams installed. They help stabilize the wall and prevent any further inward movement!
Nearly Discreet Interior Drainage System
The WaterGuard drainage system might be out of sight, but it's not out of action! Under that fresh layer of concrete is this nearly discreet drainage system, working to capture water seepage through inlet holes below and the wall flange above, just barely visible here!
Sump Pump System Upgraded
No waterproofing project is complete without a powerful sump pump system! Jonathan's old system was upgraded to the SuperSump Plus, which is more reliable and can effectively handle large volumes of water.
