Xypex System To Repair Crack
To repair the crack, the Xypex Patch n' Plug system was used. It's a fast-setting hydraulic cement compound that stops flowing water in seconds and other defects in concrete.
Waterproofing the Crack Repair
Over the repaired crack, a panel of BrightWall is added to help direct any potential water seepage down to the perimeter drainage system.
Perimeter Drainage Added
Right below the newly installed BrightWall panel, a strip of the WaterGuard drainage system is added. It will ensure that any water collected goes into the home's existing drainage system and not onto Jeremy's basement floor!
