Previous Wall Supports
This wall had previously had several supports installed to help stabilize it as it began to bow. But over time, Ann and Gio realized that the supports were not working because they began to struggle with closing windows, the floors above became uneven, and water started to seep onto the basement floor.
New I-Beams Installed
It was out with the old and in with the new as several I-Beams were placed flush against the wall where it was bowing inward the most to prevent further movement and stabilize this foundation wall!
Perimeter of the WaterGuard Drainage System
The addition of the WaterGuard drainage system was the best solution to tackle the water seeping in, and once installed, it's nearly invisible, with only the top of the flange visible to capture water and direct it down to the sump pump.
Reliable Sump Pump System Added
To keep this basement dry, a Super Sump was installed, and thanks to the top-rated 1/3 HP Zoeller cast iron pump, it can pump up to 2,280 gallons per hour!
