A Large Crack in the Basement Wall
This large crack and the wall leaning in at the top were all clear signs to our Design Specialist that this wall in Bob's basement was shifting and beginning to buckle.
I-Beams Installed On Bowing Wall
These large red steel beams are laid flush against the bowing wall in Bob's basement. Once securely installed in the ground and the joists above, they will help stabilize this wall and prevent it from moving inward further!
Interior Drainage System Added
Against the wall is the WaterGuard drainage system. Once sealed in, it's nearly invisible, with only the top of the wall flange visible, which collects the moisture directed down the CleanSpace and helps it flow into Bob's new sump pump system.
CleanSpace Wall Covering Added
Between the I-Beams, the CleanSpace Wall Covering was installed. These bright white poly sheet sections act as a moisture and vapor barrier, directing any possible water seepage down into the perimeter drainage system and not all over Bob's basement floor.
SuperSump Installed
No waterproofing project is complete without a reliable sump pump system! The SuperSump will collect any water drained into it and then push it up and out of Bob's basement thanks to its Zoeller cast-iron pump.
