When Beau removed old drywall and insulation, he discovered this massive crack. It ran all the way from the floor to the ceiling! This crack also showed signs that water was leaking through, so our Team knew a Xypex repair system would be the perfect solution for this crack. It helps to plug the cracked area, seal it, and fill in any holes in the concrete. After the crack is repaired, BrightWall® panels are placed over it, and a WaterGuard® drainage system is installed under the repair. These two systems work together, so if water seeps in from the walls, the BrightWall will help direct the moisture down to the WatergGuard to flow to the sump pump. Now, Beau doesn’t have to worry about what’s hiding under his new drywall!
